Bangladesh Coast Guard: Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) today gave free treatment and medicines to 200 underprivileged children at the Saint Martin Island in Cox’s Bazar district. To provide the treatment, the maritime law enforcement force set up a temporary medical camp at the Mansul Ali Ship at the Island, in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9-km south of the tip of the Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the physicians and medical assistants of the Coast Guard extended required treatment and medicines to 200 underprivileged children free of cost from 11:30 am to 3 pm today, said Lieutenant Commander Khandaker Munif Taqi, media officer of the force’s headquarters. Surgeon Lieutenant Commander Zakir Hossain was present at that time.
