Dhaka: The holy month of Ramadan of 1447 Hijri will begin in the country tomorrow as the new moon was sighted in the sky of Bangladesh today. The announcement was made following a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at the conference room of Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque this evening, as confirmed by Muhammad Nizam Uddin, deputy director of Public Relations at the Islamic Foundation.
