Habibur Rashid Distributes Wheelchairs to Support Physically Challenged Individuals

Dhaka: State Minister for Railways and Road Transport and Highways Habibur Rashid today distributed wheelchairs among physically challenged children and elderly persons. The distribution event took place at Abdul Aziz School and College ground in Madartek in the capital.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the State Minister emphasized the importance of providing wheelchairs to ensure mobility for beneficiaries and reduce their dependence on others. He urged party leaders and activists to align with BNP’s 31-point agenda, uphold its ideals, and strengthen the party by winning public confidence through their conduct.



During his address, Habibur Rashid issued a warning against drug abuse, stating that those connected with drug activities would face legal action and disciplinary measures within the party. He further emphasized that extortion and terrorism would not be tolerated and that authorities are actively working to identify individuals involved in such activities.



The event saw the distribution of free wheelchairs to more than 50 children and elderly persons with disabilities. Former joint convener of Dhaka Metropolitan BNP Yunus Mridha, BNP leader Liton Mahmud, and Jubo Dal leader Masud Chowdhury were present among others at the event.
