Dhaka:The government has appointed 40 more candidates to the education cadre under the 49th Bangladesh Civil Services (BCS) in a notification issued by the Public Administration Ministry.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, These appointments follow recommendations by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) and are part of the second phase of recruitment. This development comes after Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed mentioned last Thursday that a notification for appointing the previously excluded 46 candidates from the special education cadre of the 49th special BCS would be released soon.
Candidates have been eagerly awaiting their appointments, as the process for the special education cadre of the 49th special BCS has been ongoing. While notifications have been issued in phases based on Public Service Commission recommendations, some candidates were initially excluded, leading to discussions.
The latest notification serves as a continuation of the recruitment process, which saw a previous notification appointing 611 candidates last week. Sources indicate that the posting process for the new appointees will proceed following necessary formalities and verification procedures.
Officials emphasize that the recruitment process for government jobs adheres to merit, qualifications, and established regulations.
