Four Arrested for Alleged Criminal Activities in Habiganj

Habiganj: The joint forces arrested four people for their alleged involvement in criminal activities from different places of Bahubal upazila of the district in the early hours of today. The arrestees were identified as Tenu Mia, 41, his son Shiblu Mia, 22, and Md Selim Mia, 40, of West Joypur village and Jakaria Mia, 19, of Lakripara village of Bahubal upazila.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrests were made following a tip-off that prompted a team of joint forces to conduct raids in various areas of the upazila. The operation led to the successful capture of the suspects who are believed to be involved in illicit activities within the region.

After their arrest, the individuals were brought before the court. Subsequently, the court ordered that the accused be sent to jail, pending further investigation and potential charges. The joint forces' operation highlights ongoing efforts to address criminal activities in the area, ensuring the safety and security of local residents.
