Rangpur:Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu MP is scheduled to arrive in Rangpur and Lalmonirhat on October 9 for a four-day official tour.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the visit was announced in a letter signed by Selim Ahmed, the Minister's Private Secretary, and disseminated through a press release by the Rangpur regional PID office.
During his visit, Minister Dulu will inaugurate the construction work of the 'Shaheed Abu Sayed Gate' at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, with a foundation-laying ceremony at 3 pm on October 9. Later the same day, he will attend a memorial meeting at the District Shilpokola Academy auditorium at 4 pm to mark the first death anniversary of Anisur Rahman Laku, the Member-Secretary of the Rangpur District BNP.
In the evening, at 7 pm, the Minister will be the chief guest at the 'District Shilpokola Academy Honors, 2025-2026' ceremony at the Lalmonirhat Circuit House auditorium.
The itinerary also includes an inspection of various ongoing development projects in Lalmonirhat on October 10 at 4 pm. On the following day, October 11, Minister Dulu is set to attend the 'Deputy Commissioner Alokito Kishor Gold Cup Football Tournament 2026' at the Lalmonirhat District Stadium at 2:30 pm. That evening, he will be the chief guest at the 'Grand Campfire' and closing ceremony of the 4th District Scout Rally at the Collectorate Ground at 8:30 pm.
The Minister will conclude his visit and depart for Dhaka from Saidpur Airport on October 12 at 11:30 am.
