Consultation Meeting Focuses on Feasibility Study of Rajshahi City Corporation’s New Project

Rajshahi: A consultation meeting was held regarding the feasibility study of a new project proposed for Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), with financial assistance from the Bangladesh Municipal Development Fund (BMDF). The meeting took place in the conference hall at Nagar Bhaban, with RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton attending as the chief guest.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting saw the presence of Md. Khalilur Rahman, Joint Secretary of the Local Government Division and Managing Director of BMDF, along with other representatives of BMDF. RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of RCC as an institution for citizen services and urban development. He highlighted the trust and confidence placed in him by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to ensure the delivery of these services.



The consultation was also attended by RCC Chief Executive Officer Rezaul Karim, Superintending Engineer of Rajshahi Roads and Highways Department Ahsan Uddin Ahmed, RCC Secretary Sohel Rana, Superintending Engineer Khairul Baker, Chief Conservancy Officer Sheikh Mamun Dollar, and other concerned officials. BMDF’s Urban Development Specialist Ahmad Zaman Tarik presented the overall activities of the proposed project, outlining its potential benefits and impact on urban development.
