Dhaka: Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen has sent a bouquet of flowers and a letter wishing for the recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at a city hospital. The gesture from the Chinese ambassador highlights the concern for Khaleda Zia's health and signifies diplomatic goodwill.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the information, stating that the flowers were formally received at the Chairperson's Gulshan office at 6:40 PM by the Private Secretary to the BNP Chairperson, A B M Abdus Sattar. This act of sending flowers and a letter underscores the diplomatic relations between China and Bangladesh, as well as the personal concern for the well-being of a prominent political figure in Bangladesh.
