DHAKA, May 25, 2017 (BSS) - Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan today said the charge-sheet on the terror attacks at Holey artisan caf, in the city would be placed soon.
"The investigation into the terror attacks at Holey artisan caf, in Gulistan is going on with the highest importance," he told newsmen after emerging from a meeting with a visiting delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at his office.
The five member delegation led by JICA President Dr Shinichi Kitaoka paid a call on the Home Minister and discussed matters related to the terror attacks at the Holey artisan caf,.
Replying to a question on the meeting with JICA, the minister said the JICA delegation requested for quick trial of the Holey Artisan terror attacks.
He informed the JICA delegation that the government has taken the Holey artisan terror attacks as an important case and asked the law enforcement agencies to submit the charge-sheet quickly.
Meanwhile, the Home Minister said, the trial of Japanese national Hosse Kunio murder case in Rangpur had completed and also the Gulshan terror attacks case would be completed in this way.
The JICA delegation members expressed their satisfaction over the security measures undertaken by the Bangladesh government in the Japanese funded projects in the country.
The minister also informed the delegation about the security measures undertaken by the government soon after the unexpected terror attacks at the Holey artisan caf,.
The government, if needed, is ready to provide more security in and around the Japanese projects, Kamal assured the JICA.
During the meeting, the JICA delegation assured the minister that they would continue their works in the Bangladesh's projects.
