London: As part of his public diplomacy efforts, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will deliver a special speech at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, today. He is scheduled to address the audience in the Main Hall of Chatham House between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm London time. The session will be recorded, live streamed, and partially open to media, according to the programme schedule of the Chief Adviser.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Chief Adviser will also participate in a reception hosted by Chatham House in his honor. In the evening, he will attend a dinner hosted by His Majesty King Charles III on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of The King’s Foundation. This event will take place at St. James’s Palace in London.

Prof Yunus is currently in London on a four-day official visit aimed at enhancing bilateral relations. In a significant acknowledgement of his global contributions, he has been nominated by King Charles III for the ‘King Charles III
Harmony Award 2025,’ recognizing his lifelong efforts to promote peace, sustainability, and harmony between people and the environment.

The award ceremony will be held at St James’s Palace in London on June 12. Established in 1990, The King’s Foundation, a UK-based charity founded by the then Prince of Wales, annually bestows this prestigious award on individuals with exemplary achievements in sustainable development and humanitarian causes. The Chief Adviser is expected to return home on June 14.
