BRUR Urges Adherence to Ban on Partisan Student Politics

Dhaka: Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) today issued an urgent notice urging everyone to abide by the ban on partisan student politics on campus in the larger interest of maintaining a fair and conducive educational environment.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification highlighted concerns about students engaging in political activities and promoting them on social media, despite the existing ban. This behavior is in direct violation of the university’s regulations and represents a disregard for the administration’s directives.



The university’s ban explicitly prohibits all forms of partisan political activities on campus, including the use of BRUR’s name for such purposes. The notification reiterated the importance of adhering to this law to preserve a fair educational setting.



The notice concluded with a request for all involved parties to respect the university’s regulations, emphasizing the significance of maintaining an impartial educational environment for the benefit of the entire campus community.
