Chakaria: BNP National Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed today announced that if the BNP is elected to form the government, it will introduce agricultural cards for farmers, offer fair-priced seeds and fertiliser, and provide easy-term agricultural loans. "Quality healthcare will be ensured for all citizens so that no one dies due to lack of treatment. Poor families will be brought under the social safety net, and essential goods, including rice and lentils, will be provided free of cost through family-based cards," he stated at a street rally in Konakhali Union under Chakaria upazila this morning.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Salahuddin Ahmed emphasized the BNP's commitment to establishing rule of law, human rights, and citizens' rights, drawing on the sacrifices of the people, the blood of martyrs, and their dedication to democracy. "The BNP believes that in the days ahead, it will be possible to build a democratic and justice-based Bangladesh. Through 16-17 years of struggle, a fascism-free and democratic environment has been restored in Bangladesh. In the upcoming national parliamentary elections, the people must exercise their voting rights in a free, neutral, and festive atmosphere," he added.

Salahuddin further mentioned that employment opportunities will be created for educated unemployed youth, with an unemployment allowance provided until they secure jobs. He highlighted plans to employ 10-15 million people within one to one and a half years. The BNP national standing committee member claimed that the party makes promises and implements them, with a commitment to safeguarding independence, freedom fighters, democracy, and the country's development.

Meanwhile, large crowds attended Salahuddin Ahmed's road-show events, where he was greeted with floral tributes by his supporters. Additionally, he provided financial assistance to seven families affected by a fire in Pekua's Mognama.
