DHAKA, League champions Bashundhara Kings extended their winning in the Bangladesh Premier League Football when they blanked Saif Sporting Club by 20 goals held on Monday at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
In the day's match, foreign recruit Daniel broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Bashundhara Kings in the 45+2nd minute and sealed the victory scoring the second goal in the 90+2nd minute of the match.
With this win, table topper Bashundhara Kings, which clinched the BPL title in their debut season, moved up 62 points from 23 matches while Saif Sporting Club remained at their previous credit of 44 points playing the same number of outings.
Bashundhara Kings will play their last league match against Chittagong Abahani on August 3 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
Meanwhile, Brothers Union Club take on Team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation in the lone encounter of the league scheduled to be held tomorrow at BNS at 7 pm.
