Bangladesh Emerging Team will take on visiting
Ireland Wolves tomorrow (Tuesday) in the third one-day game at the Zahur
Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in a bid to continue their winning streak.
The hosts are currently in 1-0 lead in the five-match one-day series,
courtesy to their four-wicket win in the second game. The first match was
called off after an Irish player Ruhan Pretorious was found Covid-19 positive
in review result.
However, while the uncertainty was hovering over the series, all members
and staff of the both teams including Pretorius underwent corona test again
and much to the delight, all of them were tested negative. The series then
went as planned.
Ireland Wolves who are yet to win any match in the series, will try to
level the series, with an aim to keep the hope of series win alive. A defeat
in the third game will block their way to win the series.
Bangladesh Emerging team earlier won the lone four-day game against Ireland
Wolves by an innings and 23-run margin.
After the third game, both teams will travel back to Dhaka where they will
play the fourth and fifth one-day match on March 12 and 14 at Sher-e-Bangla
National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS). They will then play two T20s which will
also be held at the same venue on March 17 and 18.
