Dhaka:Bangladesh Bank has temporarily taken its website offline as a precautionary measure against a potential cyberattack. The central bank announced this decision through a message issued today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the bank has not provided specific details regarding the nature of the security threat or a timeline for when the website might be back online.
Bangladesh Bank spokesperson and Executive Director Arif Hossain Khan explained that the action was taken to mitigate security risks. "I have no further information on the matter. The website will be restored after the necessary security measures are taken," Khan stated.
