Dhaka: Bangladesh and China have pledged to enhance their comprehensive strategic partnership, focusing on deepening cooperation in trade, investment, connectivity, and development. This commitment was made during the official visit of Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Khalilur Rahman, to China.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the visit included a meeting between Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and Wang Huning, Chairperson of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), in Beijing. Both sides reviewed their growing bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction with the steady progress under the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
The discussions highlighted a mutual commitment to further strengthen collaboration in various sectors, including trade, investment, connectivity, and development, for the benefit of both nations. The meeting was also attended by Humaiun Kobir, Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs, and Nazmul Islam, Bangladesh Ambassador to China.
