Jute, rice seeds and fertilizers were distributed as incentive among 4100 small farmers in Lalpur Upazila of the district today.
A function was held at Upazila Parishad premises on the occasion this morning. With Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shamima Sultana in the chair, Md Shahidul Islam Bakul, MP, took part in the function as chief guest.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Rafiqul Islam said each farmer got jute and Aush seeds and 20 kgs of fertilizers free of cost in the function.
