Ankara: Information and Broadcasting Adviser to the Interim Government of Bangladesh Md Mahfuj Alam paid a courtesy call on Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler in Turkiye today. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations, particularly in the areas of defense collaboration and equipment manufacturing.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting took place during the 'Antalya Diplomacy Forum, 2025' in Turkiye. The discussions highlighted mutual interests and potential cooperation in defense sectors, aiming to bolster the partnership between Bangladesh and Turkiye.
Following the discussions, Adviser Mahfuj Alam presented Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler with a graffiti book titled 'Odds to a Bangladesh Reborn,' which is based on the July Uprising. This gesture was part of the ongoing diplomatic efforts to enhance cultural and historical understanding between the two countries.
