Gazipur: The admission test for the first-year honours programmes of the 2025-26 academic session under the agricultural cluster of nine public Agricultural Universities was conducted today without incident.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the test, which followed a multiple-choice question format, commenced at 2:00 pm and concluded at 3:00 pm. A total of 88,228 students participated in the examination, competing for 3,701 available seats across the nine universities. This results in approximately 24 candidates vying for each seat.
The examination was held simultaneously at 20 sub-centers nationwide, including the nine universities currently part of the Agricultural Cluster. Gazipur Agricultural University took the lead in coordinating the administrative and technical aspects of the examination process.
The universities involved in the Agricultural Cluster include Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gazipur Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.
