Dhaka:Bangladesh Bank has announced that all scheduled banks across the country will be closed on November 7 in observance of National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the central bank issued a circular stating that the closure decision aligns with a memorandum from the Ministry of Public Administration, which declared a general holiday for the occasion on October 7, 2026.
The directive, which applies to all scheduled banks in Bangladesh, was issued under the authority of Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, in the public interest.
