Naogaon:Member of Parliament Md Fazle Huda Babul distributed sarees and lungis to impoverished and distressed members of the Hindu community in Mahadebpur upazila. This initiative was part of the celebrations for Sharadiya Durga Puja.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the distribution event commenced at 1100 am at the Jahangirpur Model High School grounds in Mahadebpur upazila. The event was presided over by Ratan Kumar Mondal, the convener of the Mahadebpur Upazila Puja Celebration Front.
Notable attendees included former Mahadebpur Upazila Parishad chairman and ex-upazila BNP general secretary Abdus Sattar Nannu, BNP senior vice-president Jaharul Islam, vice-president Md Akkas Ali, and BNP organizing secretary and former upazila vice-chairman Abdus Sattar.
