Hathazari:State Minister for Land and Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs, Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, emphasized that ensuring comprehensive security during the upcoming Durga Puja is of utmost importance.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister stated that leaders and activists of the BNP have been directed to stay alert to prevent any attempts to disrupt religious harmony or incite division at puja mandaps throughout the district.
BNP leaders and activists are expected to volunteer at puja venues in collaboration with local puja celebration committees. This announcement was made during a gift distribution event for devotees celebrating Sharadiya Durga Puja at Chowdhuryhat Palli Mangal Samiti.
The event was organized under the Chattogram Zila Parishad's initiative, with Mahabubur Rahman Shamim, the administrator of the Parishad, presiding over the function. Senior BNP leaders and local officials were also in attendance.
