Dhaka:The ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will start distributing nomination forms tomorrow for the by-election to reserved women's seat-23 in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the by-election is scheduled for November 12, as stated in a press release signed by BNP Assistant Office Secretary Muhammad Munir Hossain.
Aspiring candidates can collect nomination forms from the BNP's central office in Nayapaltan from 10 am to 5 pm on October 16. The completed forms must be submitted at the same venue during the same hours on October 17.
The reserved women's seat-23 was declared vacant following the resignation of BNP lawmaker Ferdousi Ahmed.
