Dhaka:President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep sorrow at the passing of former MP Salauddin Ahmed.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the President conveyed his condolences in a message, praying for the eternal peace of Salauddin Ahmed's soul and extending deep sympathy to his grieving family.
Salauddin Ahmed passed away last night while receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. His funeral prayer, or namaz-e-janaza, is scheduled to take place today after Zohr prayers at Lal Mosque in Shyampur-Kadamtali.
