Bangladesh Joins Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament

Jalandhar:Bangladesh will face off against Asia's top hockey teams at the Hero Asian Champions Trophy in India, scheduled from October 27 to November 5, following Pakistan's withdrawal from the event.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tournament will take place in Jalandhar and Mohali. Competing for the title alongside Bangladesh will be teams from India, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and China.

Bangladesh is set to play their opening match on October 27, marking the first day of the competition. This opportunity arose after Pakistan's withdrawal, allowing Bangladesh to participate against some of Asia's leading hockey nations. The tournament is officially sanctioned by the International Hockey Federation and the Asian Hockey Federation.
