Dohar:Five orphaned sisters in Radhanagar village, Dohar upazila, Dhaka, have received support from 'Amra BNP Poribar' after Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman learned of their situation.

According to United News of Bangladesh, attention was drawn to the family's plight following a media report detailing the tragic loss of their parents within a month. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who serves as the chief patron of 'Amra BNP Poribar', responded by directing his Additional Press Secretary, Atikur Rahman Rumon, to organize assistance for the sisters.

On Friday, a delegation led by Amra BNP Poribar Member Secretary Moksedul Momin Mithun visited the home of the late farmer couple, Abul Kalam Azad and Farida Begum, in Radhanagar village. The team met with the family, offered financial aid and gifts, and conveyed a message of sympathy and support from the Prime Minister.

Mithun explained to journalists that 'Amra BNP Poribar' was established to assist distressed individuals, regardless of political affiliation. He emphasized that the Prime Minister acted swiftly upon learning about the family's struggles.

Other notable figures from the organization, including Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, and Dohar upazila BNP General Secretary Masud Parvez, were also in attendance. The sisters lost their parents within a month, with Farida Begum passing first and Abul Kalam Azad found hanging one month later, both having faced severe financial difficulties and debt burdens.
