Keraniganj:Dhaka BNP Standing Committee Member and Dhaka-2 lawmaker Md Aman Ullah Aman stated that the people would not tolerate any threats or attempts by fleeing fascist forces to create instability in the country. He emphasized that politics linked to fascism has been restricted in the nation.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Aman Ullah Aman made these remarks during the inauguration of the 'Farmers Card and Agricultural Input Assistance Distribution 2026' programme in Keraniganj. He asserted that those who had left the country after the fall of fascism would not be allowed to return, rendering any threats or attempts to destabilize futile and unacceptable.

The nationwide programme, virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, aims to provide real farmers with agricultural services, inputs, incentives, and assistance transparently. Aman, a former DUCSU vice-president, urged BNP leaders and activists to remain vigilant, stressing that individuals responsible for repression and violence over the past decade and a half would face law enforcement.

Aman further claimed that the BNP's popularity was due to the confidence inspired by Chairman Tarique Rahman, who has fulfilled promises made to the people. The introduction of the Family Card and Farmers Card programmes, along with honorariums to religious leaders, demonstrated the BNP's commitment to its pledges.

He also mentioned that a vested group is conspiring to destabilize the country in light of its development and progress, and stressed the importance of safeguarding democracy, achieved through the sacrifice of thousands of martyrs. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Omar Faruque, agriculture ministry officials, and local administration representatives attended the event.
