Dhaka: Ruling party BNP's highest policymaking body, the National Standing Committee, is set to convene Friday evening to assess the current political landscape and determine the party's future strategies. This significant meeting will take place at the BNP chairman's political office in Gulshan, presided over by Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
According to United News of Bangladesh, BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the scheduling of the Standing Committee meeting for Friday evening. The discussions are expected to focus on Tarique Rahman's forthcoming visit to the United States for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, starting on September 21. Preparations and strategies related to this international event are anticipated to be a key topic during the assembly.
