Netrokona: A motorcyclist was tragically killed in a road accident at Madanpur Bazar on the Netrokona-Kendua road in Sadar upazila this morning. The victim, identified as Faruk Ahmed, 50, was a resident of Chandragati village under Kendua municipality.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when Faruk Ahmed lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a concrete wall adjacent to the road. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Netrokona Model Police Station, Abul Khayer, reported that the crash inflicted critical injuries on Faruk.
Local residents immediately responded to the incident, rescuing Faruk and transporting him to Netrokona Sadar Hospital. Unfortunately, the on-duty doctor pronounced him dead upon arrival. The police have since handed over Faruk's body to his family after completing the necessary legal formalities.
