Magura: The 53rd Summer National School, Madrasah, and Technical Education Sports Competition began today at the Magura District Stadium. Magura-1 MP Md Monowar Hossain Khan inaugurated the two-day event as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the competition is organized by the District National School, Madrasah, and Technical Education Sports Association. It features a variety of sports, including handball, kabaddi, chess, and swimming, showcasing the talents of students from various educational institutions.
Magura Deputy Commissioner Motakabbir Ahmed presided over the opening ceremony. The event was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Shashwati Shil, District Education Officer Sohiluddin, District Sports Officer B M Sajid, and representatives from the police. Head teachers and other officials were also present to support the participants.
The competition is set to conclude tomorrow with the final matches, bringing an end to the spirited contests and celebrations of sportsmanship among the young athletes.
