SC Announces New Court, Office Hours for Appellate, High Court Divisions

The supreme court: The Supreme Court (SC) today announced new court and office hours for its Appellate Division and High Court Division, effective from August 11.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a notification signed by Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee detailed the revised schedule. The Appellate Division court hours will start at 9 am and continue until 1:15 pm, including a 30-minute recess from 11 am to 11:30 am. Additionally, the apex court's office hours are set to commence at 8 am and conclude at 4 pm, featuring a 30-minute lunch and Zuhr prayer break from 1:30 pm.

The High Court Division's court hours are scheduled from 10:30 am to 4:15 pm, incorporating a 45-minute break for lunch and Zuhr prayers from 1:15 pm. The official activities of the High Court Division will begin at 9 am and extend until 5 pm, with a 30-minute break for lunch and Zuhr prayers at 1:30 pm.
