Dhaka: The pass rate for this year's SSC (Vocational) examinations under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board has been recorded at 58.20 percent. A total of 1,27,964 candidates participated in the examinations, with 74,470 students passing successfully.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon announced the results at 10 a.m. today at the Secretariat. Out of the successful candidates, 3,951 students achieved a GPA-5. The overall pass rate across the 11 education boards in the country, including the Technical Education Board, was 62.25 percent this year. A total of 1,16,676 students managed to secure a GPA-5.
Last year's combined pass rate across all boards was 68.45 percent, indicating a drop in the success rate. The SSC and equivalent examinations commenced on April 21 this year.
