Dhaka: The government has announced adjustments to fuel oil prices, maintaining the retail price of diesel at Tk 115 per litre for June, while revising the prices of petrol, octane, and kerosene in response to shifts in the international energy market. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the newly adjusted prices set petrol at Tk 140 per litre, octane at Tk 145 per litre, and kerosene at Tk 135 per litre. This adjustment was officially communicated through a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division today. The notification specifies that these revised fuel prices will be implemented starting June 1, 2026.
