Govt Committed to Mitigating BRT Project Impact on Public: Gazipur DC

Gazipur: Gazipur Deputy Commissioner Md. Nurul Karim Bhuiyan today announced that the government is actively working to alleviate the disruptions caused by the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway. The district council is collaborating with pertinent departments to expedite the project's completion.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Deputy Commissioner shared this update while meeting with journalists during the Eid-ul-Azha celebration at the Bhawal Conference Room of the Gazipur District Council. He emphasized the administration's dedication to addressing existing issues swiftly and exploring potential areas for development.

The event was attended by several officials from the district administration, including Local Government Deputy Director Ahammed Hossain Bhuiyan, Additional District Magistrate Salma Khatun, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development and Human Resource Management) Tania Tabassum, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Shahrear Nazir, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Rakibul Hassan, and Assistant Commissioner Md. Arif Hossain.
