Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall in specific regions, including Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, continuing until Sunday evening.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the Met Office bulletin indicates that many areas within the Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning. Additionally, a few places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions may also encounter similar weather conditions.
The forecast suggests that day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country. Notably, Srimangal in the Sylhet division recorded the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours until 6 pm on Saturday, amounting to 162mm.
