Dhaka: The results of the first-year undergraduate admission test for the 2025-2026 academic session under the National University have been published. National University Vice-Chancellor Prof. A.S.M. Amanullah officially announced the results today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the pass rate in the admission test stands at 80.36 percent. A total of 453,148 students appeared in the admission test, of whom 364,135 have passed. Among the successful candidates, 229,765 students have been placed in the first merit list. Of those included in the first merit list, 113,394 are from the Humanities group, 65,337 from the Science group, and 51,034 from the Business Studies group.
The results have been published within one week of the admission test, which was held on April 25. Students can obtain their results via SMS by typing their application ID and sending it to 16222. Alternatively, results can be accessed through the National University admission website by visiting the Honours tab and selecting the ‘Admission Test Result’ option. Detailed admission information is also available on the National University admission website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) under the Prospectus (Honours) and Important Notice sections.
At the time of the result publication, Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Lutfor Rahman and Treasurer Professor A.T.M. Jafarul Azam, along with deans, the registrar, the controller of examinations, department heads, teachers, and officials of the university were present.
