Lalmonirhat: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 200 bottles of phensedyl-like Eskuf and Fairdyl syrup and arrested four presumed drug dealers from Madanpur village under Aditmari police station in Lalmonirhat district on Friday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a team from RAB-13’s Sadar Company conducted a raid based on a tip-off, seizing 100 bottles of Eskuf and 100 bottles of Fairdyl syrup while searching an auto-rickshaw and a monocycle. The operation led to the arrest of the suspects at 2:20 pm.
The arrestees were identified as Hafizur Rahman, 28, Md Shariful Islam, 33, Md Anarul Islam, 25, and Md Rabiul Islam, 25, all from village Banchowki under Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
After filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act, 2018, the elite force handed over the arrested individuals and seized drugs to Aditmari police station for further legal action.
