President Extends Greetings to Christian Community on Christmas

Dhaka: President Md Sahabuddin today extended his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas Day, the greatest religious festival of Christians. In a message on the eve of the day, the President said Christmas, the birthday of the great Jesus Christ, is the biggest religious festival of the Christian community.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the President described Jesus Christ as a seeker of truth, a messenger of salvation for mankind, and a guide of light. Despite hundreds of obstacles and adversities, Jesus always preached the message of peace, truth, and justice, and gave everyone the initiation of love, service, forgiveness, and greatness.



The President emphasized that the core message of all religions is service and welfare of humanity. He highlighted the importance of learning from the ideals and teachings of Jesus Christ, urging everyone, regardless of religion and caste, to work together for the welfare of the country and its people.



Md Sahabuddin noted that Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony, where people of all faiths freely practice their religions and rituals. He urged everyone to further strengthen this communal harmony and join the journey of building a modern and developed Bangladesh.



He concluded his message by wishing for peace, prosperity, and well-being of all members of the Christian community.
