Ahmedabad: The Indian city of Ahmedabad will stage the 2030 multi-sport Commonwealth Games, it was confirmed Wednesday. The decision marks a significant milestone for the city, which is also known as Amdavad, as it prepares to host this prestigious international sporting event.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the choice of Ahmedabad was ratified by a decision of the Commonwealth Sport General Assembly in Glasgow. This decision followed a recommendation from the executive board, highlighting the city's readiness and capability to host the Games.
