Manikganj: Valerrie Ann Taylor, the founder of the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) in Bangladesh and a prominent philanthropist, visited the office of the Manikganj Deputy Commissioner yesterday evening. During her visit, she engaged in discussions focused on the rehabilitation of disabled individuals, humanitarian services, and the potential expansion of CRP activities in the region with the Deputy Commissioner.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was attended by several key figures, including CRP Civil Engineer Selim Ahmed, Rehabilitation Engineer Shovon Parvej, and Acting Manager and Principal of Manikganj CRP Engineer Mahbubul Islam. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mohammad Ali, Additional Deputy Magistrate Nazmul Hasan Khan, and Executive Magistrate Pronoron Kanti Chowdhury were also present among others, reflecting the significance of the discussions aimed at enhancing the support and services for disabled people in the area.
