Rawalpindi: South Africa took a first-innings lead of 71 as their tail propelled them to 404 on the third day of the second Test in Rawalpindi in reply to Pakistan’s 333 all out.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Senuran Muthusamy played an impressive innings, achieving a career-best score of 89 not out. Alongside him, Kagiso Rabada contributed significantly with a solid 71 runs, bolstering South Africa’s total and securing the lead.
The standout performance for Pakistan came from veteran spinner Asif Afridi, who made a remarkable debut by taking six wickets for 79 runs. Despite Afridi’s efforts, Pakistan could not prevent South Africa from surpassing their first-innings score.
