Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus to Attend World Food Programme Meeting in Rome

Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to depart for Rome, Italy, on October 12 to participate in a global meeting organized by the World Food Programme (WFP).

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the information was shared by Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam during a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy. In addition to addressing the WFP event, Professor Yunus is expected to engage with prominent figures on the sidelines of the meeting.

The press secretary also provided an update on a National Steering Committee meeting chaired by Professor Yunus, which took place at the Chief Adviser's Office in the Tejgaon area of the city.
