Magura: The joint forces arrested two people with firearms early today in the Magura Sadar Upazila of the district. The arrested individuals were identified as Md. Mustak Hossain, aged 46, and Md. Daud Ali Biswas, aged 37, both sons of the late Rustam Ali Biswas from Parla village in the Sadar Upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Magura Sadar Upazila, Ayub Ali, stated that law enforcement officials recovered one Chinese pistol, two rounds of ammunition, and seven local weapons. Additionally, they found one magazine and two mobile phones in the possession of the accused.
The arrested individuals have been handed over to Magura Sadar Police Station. Preparations are underway to take necessary legal actions against them as authorities continue their investigation into the matter.
