Dhaka: The closing ceremony of the BUP National Law Fest 2025 was held today at the Shadhinota Auditorium of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The event aimed to enhance advocacy, policymaking, public speaking, and critical engagement with contemporary law-related issues while promoting inter-university relations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the fest saw participation from approximately 400 students from various universities, alongside 50 distinguished judges. Over the course of the event, participants engaged in more than 24 sessions, which included debates, advocacy presentations, and panel discussions.
Attorney General of Bangladesh Md Asaduzzaman attended the programme as the chief guest and expressed his appreciation for the initiative, noting its role in nurturing young minds and fostering inter-university collaboration through practical legal exposure. BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Dr Md Mahbub-ul Alam emphasized the significance of such platforms in preparing the next generation of legal professionals to meet national and global challenges.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes among the winning teams in different categories, marking the successful end of the fest.
