Magura District’s Monthly Law and Order Committee Meeting Focuses on Drug Prevention and Illegal Brick Kilns

Dhaka: The monthly meeting of the District Law and Order Committee took place this morning at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office in Magura. This important gathering was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Md Ohidul Islam, with the presence of other key officials including Superintendent of Police Mina Mahmuda, Civil Surgeon Dr. Md Shamim Kabir, UNOs from the four upazilas, and leaders from various political and social organizations.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Deputy Commissioner Md Ohidul Islam emphasized the collective responsibility to maintain law and order in the district. He highlighted the need for collaboration in tackling the drug menace and announced directives to close down illegal brick kilns during the upcoming winter season.

Superintendent of Police Mina Mahmuda provided an update on the regular anti-drug operations being conducted throughout the district, assuring that law enforcement agencies remain steadfast in their commitment to public safety. She also highlighted the ongoing efforts, including regular drives and mobile courts, aimed at controlling the use of illegal vehicles on the roads.
