Rangamati: A meeting of the District Law and Order Committee was held this morning at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room. Deputy Commissioner Md Habib Ullah Maruf presided over the meeting.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was attended by key district officials, including Additional District Magistrate Zubaida Akhtar, Superintendent of Police SM Farhad Hossain, Deputy Director of Local Government Department and Municipal Administrator Md Mobarak Hossain Parvez, District Civil Surgeon Dr Nuen Khisa, District Council Member Habib Azam, and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rifat Ashma.
The committee focused on ensuring the maintenance of law and order in the district, particularly in light of the upcoming Durga Puja and Kathin Chibar Dan festival. Instructions were issued to guarantee that these events are celebrated in a safe and joyful atmosphere.
