Lakshmipur: A man lost his life and five others sustained injuries following a head-on collision between two CNG-run auto-rickshaws in front of Hazirhat Upakul Government College in Kamalnagar upazila last night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased was identified as Hasan, a 30-year-old CNG driver and son of Nur Solaiman Hossain from Sabuj village in Ramgati upazila. The tragic incident occurred at midnight, resulting in injuries to six individuals, as confirmed by Md. Touhidul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Kamalnagar Police Station.
The injured were promptly taken to Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital for medical attention. Due to the severity of his condition, Hasan was transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries early this morning.
