Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Teachings as a Guide for Emancipation: Religious Affairs Secretary

Jamalpur: Religious Affairs Secretary AKM Aftab Hossain Pramanik today emphasized that the teachings and life philosophy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) act as an eternal guide for the emancipation of mankind. He highlighted this perspective during a discussion and prayer event dedicated to Eid-e-Miladunnabi held at the Jamalpur District Model Mosque.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Pramanik expressed that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is regarded as a mercy for all creation, serving as a beacon to eliminate the darkness of superstition, injustice, oppression, slavery, and sin. He noted that the Prophet’s mission was to guide humanity towards truth, justice, and enlightenment.



Pramanik further elaborated that the Prophet’s life is characterized by his unwavering devotion to Almighty Allah, his noble character, and his immense compassion and kindness. He urged that Eid-e-Miladunnabi should be seen not just as a ceremonial observance but as a solemn occasion to internalize and reflect the ideals of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in personal, familial, social, and national contexts.



He called upon individuals to embody the Prophet’s values of honesty, justice, kindness, and tolerance in their personal and social lives. The event was jointly organized by the Jamalpur District Administration and the Islamic Foundation, with Jamalpur Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum presiding over the occasion.



Other notable speakers at the event included Project Director of the Mosque-Based Children and Mass Education Project SM Tariqul Islam, Principal of Kamalkhan Hat Kamil Madrasa Maulana Md Akhtaruzzaman Siddiqui, Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Azizul Haque, Additional Superintendent of Police Yahia Al Mamun, and Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
