Dhaka: Police detained 56 people involved in various crimes during special operations in six police station areas of the capital’s Tejgaon Division in the last 48 hours. The arrestees include professional robbers, thieves, criminals, warranted accused, and habitual criminals.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Adabor Police Station sources reported that 17 individuals were apprehended from different locations under its jurisdiction. The arrested include Md Sumon alias Bucket Sumon (26), Md Rahman (25), Md Mehedi Hasan (25), Md Nazmul (20), Md Mostafizur Rahman (35), Md Sohel Rana (40), Md Monirul Islam (35), Md Monarul Islam (25), Md Jahangir Ali (35), Md Rajib (35), Md Harun (40), Md Bhola Mia (30), Md Ashraful (35), Md Rabiul Islam (27), Md Amirul (35), Md Kajal (25), and Md Kajal (23).
Mohammadpur Police Station of the DMP arrested six people involved in various crimes. The arrestees are Billal alias Agni Billal (28), Marf (22), Arif (26), Suman (23), Sagar (23), and Tutul (28).
According to Tejgaon Police Station, a special operation led to the arrest of eight individuals from various locations within its jurisdiction. The arrested are Naeem (23), Munna (32), Russell (27), Kashem (45), Alamin (34), Rehan (23), Rashed (34), and Md Idris (33).
Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station also reported the arrest of seven people from different locations in its area. They are Jahangir (23), Asma (33), Nirab (34), Pakhi (20), Mayur (32), Rahul (22), and Alamin (44).
On the same day, Hatirjheel Police Station conducted a special operation resulting in the arrest of 11 individuals from various locations within its jurisdiction. The arrested include Md Shanto Islam (28), Parvez (23), Md Habibur Rahman (20), Md Yusuf Mia (45), Md Saiful Islam (28), Md A. Aziz (40), Md Abdullah (25), Md Palash (30), Md Sheikh Farid (28), Md Zahid (20), and Md Hasan (25).
According to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, seven people were arrested from different locations within its area. The arrested include Maruf (19), Babul Hossain (34), Nahid (23), Mofizul (34), Jahangir (22), Asif (26), and Md Robin (25).
