Munshiganj: A tragic incident occurred at Uttar Fuldi village in Gazaria upazila, where a man lost his life due to electrocution. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Sagar Mia, was the son of Azibar Prodhan, a resident of the same area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the unfortunate event took place around 9 pm when Sagar Mia was installing a water pump to supply water to an under-construction building. It was during this task that he accidentally came into contact with a live electric wire.
Following the incident, Sagar was rushed to the Gazaria Upazila Health Complex. However, upon arrival, the on-duty doctor pronounced him dead. The Officer-in-Charge of Gazaria Police Station, Md. Anwar Alam Azad, confirmed the incident and stated that the body has been returned to the family.
In connection with this incident, a Unnatural Death (UD) case has been registered at the Gazaria Police Station.
